Current Text and Class Time
The New Eight Steps to Happiness | Sundays from 1 - 3:00 pm
Foundation Program is offered in-person only. For those who live more than one hour away or who have a physical disability that prevents in-person attendance, a modern correspondence course is available.
What to Expect
Each class begins with group prayers and a guided meditation based on the subject being studied. During class, the teacher will read from a section of the current text and give commentary. It is requested that you read the upcoming section before class to familiarize yourself with the material. An exam is given either at the conclusion of the text or at the end of a section of the text.
Your Commitments
In order to gain the most benefit from Foundation Program, a weekly commitment to attend classes is required. Please watch the replay if you miss a class. We ask that you commit to at least a six month membership and/or the completion of the text you are studying. Our center also offers free weekly and monthly pujas (chanted prayers). Please make an effort to attend at least one weekly puja. Pujas are an important part of our spiritual practice, allowing us to connect with holy beings and receive powerful blessings.
The Benefits
In addition to your Foundation Program class, you will have access to General Program classes (currently Sunday Morning Meditation Class) and discounts on workshops. With the support of our resident teacher, sangha friends, and your joyful effort, you will have a rare and precious opportunity to gain deep spiritual realizations.
Monthly Contributions
Foundation Program Membership is offered with at least a six month membership and/or the completion of the text you are studying. The monthly fee for Foundation Program is $80.
